Please fill out this form to gain access to your Coptech Digital FTP account. FTP is the preferred method of transfering large artwork and content files. We also included some notes on how to use FTP. If you have any quesitons, please give us a call and we'll be happy to walk you through the process.

FTP from MAC:
Mac users can download files from an FTP server using their browser, but cannot upload with web browsers. There are several good FTP programs available at reasonable cost. The most popular is Fetch, available at fetchsoftworks.com. Fetch is free to download and try for 2 weeks. When you run Fetch, you will be prompted for the hostname, username, and password of the FTP account you will be connecting to. The hostname at Coptech is ftp.coptechinc.com. The username and password will be provided to you by email. After entering this information, you should be connected and ready to transfer files.

A free OS X FTP program is available from CyberDuck.

If you are still unable to connect, you might need to enable passive mode. Some corporate firewalls require it.

1. Open Fetch, go to Customize | Preferences and click the Firewall tab.
2. Place a check beside the option Use passive mode transfers.
3. Click OK.
FTP from PC: The FTP protocol supports two modes: active and passive. Some firewalls block active FTP, while others block passive FTP. If you are having trouble connecting with Internet Explorer, the FTP mode is easily changed by simply checking or unchecking a setting. This is the procedure:

1. Open Internet Explorer. Click on the Tools menu at the top.
2. Select Internet Options. A window will open. Click on the Advanced tab at the top on the right.
3. Place a check beside the option "Enable Folder View For FTP Sites". The option is about 8 settings from the top. If it is already checked, leave it checked.
4. Place a check beside the option "Use Passive FTP" if it is not checked. If it is already checked, uncheck it. The option is about 25 settings from the top.
5. Click on the OK button at the bottom of the options window.
6. Exit from Internet Explorer.
7. Try clicking on the browser link again.

We are also available to answer any questions or walk you through the FTP upload process. 800.934.1560. If you need to gain access to your FTP site, please fill out the form at the top of the page and we will contact you with your FTP login settings.
