ScreenPrinting Tips
Below are our standard prepress guidelines. Following these will help ensure that your job gets through the preflight process and into production quickly. Artwork that does not meet these requirements may incur addiitional charges and delay the delivery timeframe. To further streamline the process please utilize one of our many graphic templates and consult our Ultra-Fast Turn guidelines. If you have any questions, please give us a call between 8am-5pm EST and ask for the PrePress Dept. or Contact Us Here. General Artwork SpecificationsArtwork should be supplied (at size) in industry standard formats (Quark Xpress, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). Source Art is always preferred in order to have the flexibility to match colors across different substrates. All elements with spot color match requirements should be assigned Pantone #s and all images must be in CMYK, Duotone or Greyscale format (300dpi at print size). Please also include all fonts and linked images in either a winzip or stuffit archive (.zip, .sit) before uploading to our server. Fonts that are not protected in a zip or sit archive will be unusable after FTP. If you must send a PDF, please be sure it is generated using the "Press" settings in Acrobat Distiller with 0.125" bleed, cropmarks, CMYK format with Euroscale Coated ICC Profile, overprint black and all fonts embedded. If you are designing your layout in photoshop, please be sure to include a layered file in case edits are needed.
