tThe Benefits Of Dvd Screenprinting For Larger Jobs

When individuals or businesses have large quantities of discs that need graphics to make them distinguishable, DVD screen-printing Boston is the most efficient process. The process of DVD screen-printing Boston, also known as silk screening, is cost-effective and fast, making it perfect for larger projects. The artwork is simply transferred onto films with different colors on each one, with up to five different colors.

Some people worry about the correct color matching that is available with this process, though, which is why color matching systems such as Pantone are often used. The colored films in the DVD screen-printing Boston process are used like stencils across a monofilament screen that has the colored inks applied throughout, ending up on the disc surface. With only five colors to work with, DVD color matching technologies are able to produce high-quality vivid colors. Simple designs with only a few different colors work best with the color matching system, because perfectly matching and correcting images with many different shades and designs is difficult with only five base colors.

In most cases, an individual or business must have an order of at least 200 discs to complete a project with this DVD color matching technique. Since the DVD screen-printing Boston process is so efficient for high volume jobs, though, there will be little price difference between 200 discs and 1,000 discs. People who need just a few DVDs printed on should probably think about another technique, but it's the best choice for high volume projects that still need to be colorful and professional-looking.
