tCd replication

Most people do not know how CD replication works. Basically, CD replication is a large scale process of CD production. CD replication is the process of creating copies of master CDs in large numbers. This industrial process is expensive compared to CD duplication. The duplication process is ideal for making less than 1000 copies at a time. However, it is worthwhile to invest in CD replication to when producing larger quantities.

The process of CD replication is somewhat more involved than CD duplication. CD duplication is done with pre-manufactured blank CDR media. CD replication consists of two important processes, namely, glass mastering and molding. In glass mastering, a glass master disc is laser etched with the data from the master CD. Then a plating process is used on the glass master to create stamper molds for injection molding the CD replicates. In the injection molding process, these molds are placed in highly advanced injection machines to create replicas in the form of plastic discs. Next, the disc is coated with a thin reflective aluminum layer. In the final stages of replication, the discs are protected with one more layer of plastic, which is spun onto it and hardened using ultraviolet light.

The CD replication process is constantly checked for quality and accuracy at all times, from beginning to end. The CD replication process involves printing, labeling, and packaging as part of replication services. CD replication services benefits people involved in music or software business. It allows them to make thousands or millions of perfect CD replicates very efficiently.

As there are number of companies that deal with CD replication, selecting an ideal one for CD replication is a difficult process. There are certain points to consider in selecting a good company for CD replication. First, it is important to check whether the company has a good portfolio. Anyone can make inquiries regarding the company's services to find whether they have done any service for high profile companies. Some people even go as far as asking for previous CD replication samples. One question that is smart to ask is whether they have handled CD replication run sizes similar to those that are needed for the particular project. One might also ask for the company's turnaround time and make sure it meets the needs of the project. Another important thing is to get an estimate about CD replication price details in advance. Choosing a reputable CD replication company which uses high quality equipment, can ensure a high quality product.
